Fellow Floridians,

Thank you for visiting my website and learning about our campaign for Congress here in the Seventh Congressional District. I look forward to meeting with as many voters as possible over the next few months and hearing about your concerns. It has been a long time since our nation has dealt with such great difficulties but we must face these challenges with courage and determination – the American way – if we are to fix them and ensure our great traditions survive.

No longer can we accept business as usual from Washington. Rampant unemployment, $18 trillion worth of debt, an overreaching and intrusive Federal government, constant wasteful spending and tired excuses from Congress is quickly destroying our great Republic. We can only begin to solve these problems by removing those people who helped create them.

The status quo has got to go.

Republicans must stop being the party of Big Government and get back to conservative principles – limited government, free market solutions, proper taxes to encourage economic growth, strong family values and a strong middle class that has made America great. I know Washington can’t create good jobs. The best Washington can do is step aside and let the people control their own destiny. When the American people work together, with limited government interference is when we work best.

Ronald Reagan said, “Professional politicians like to talk about the value of experience in government. Nuts! The only experience you gain in politics is how to be political.”

The power lies with you and only you to stop the madness in Washington. The assault on our personal liberties and our Constitution must end. It is time to send a clear message to the professional politicians that the party is over. You will have your opportunity on August 26th and I trust you make the most of it.

We can do better, we will do better and it starts right here in the Seventh District.

In your Service,

Today was my first day of real retirement since I left the Marine Corps on 31 August 2012. Had lunch with my college room mate, changed the oil in my truck and did some shopping.
Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout my Congressional campaign. Your friendship, prayers and financial support were greatly appreciated.
